Simone Ashley: Inside my Beauty Bag for Harper’s Bazaar

Rising star Simone Ashley has captivated audiences in her breakthrough role playing leading lady Kate in the period drama Bridgerton, and the 27-year-old British actress is as charming in interviews as she is character.

As you’ll see in our exclusive video above, where she shares the contents of her beauty bag as well as her top tips, Ashley is as inspirational as she is relatable.

“Less is more,” she says of her beauty philosophy, “I think it’s really fun to do a loud, playful look but I like to keep it simple”.

She has an advanced while unfussy skincare routine. After cleansing Ashley applies the luxurious Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F Triple Serum – a cocktail of hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and niacinamide said to help smooth lines and minimise dark spots, followed by the quenching Lancôme Hydra Zen Moisturiser. To keep her skin smooth she uses the Goldfaden Md Doctor’s Scrub, although she notes that exfoliation is something to do lightly. “I used to exfoliate a little too much and I was told to rein it back a bit,” she admits, echoing a common sentimentality among many skincare fans.
